How do you use theft? I try to steal from the people I meet, but nothing happens. Am I supposed to use it on enemies?

it should work on both people (Even in town) and monsters. after selecting the skill on your selected character, you right click on the target and it tries to steal. when stealing it will say if you failed or give you an item if you succeed. if you try it too many times on the same person it will not allow you to attempt to steal due to them "getting suspicious". The success rate is determined by your theft skill level.

I have never played the PSX version of the game, but i have managed to find a manual for it and upload it in the "Others" section for you. From PSX darkstone manual "To use a certain skill you must first place it on either Fastskill1 or Fastskill2. By doing this you will be able to instantly use this skill by pressing L1 ro R1, depending on which fast skill you have placed it on."

I know how to actually activate it. I guess I should've said that before... I mean, I can't get it to work on Human characters. It works fine on enemies.

Oh, also: The only reason I don't have the PC version is because I can't afford it. I'm broke. I've had the PSX version for some time now, and though the music is shot, it's still playable, and play it, I do!

Hopefully somebody who has played it will come online to answer your question.
